Sumo Ireland is the governing body for amateur sumo on the island of Ireland. It formed in 2006 and has sent competitors to the world amateur sumo championships for the past two years. We are actively recruiting both male and female rikishi (wrestlers) who are interested in representing their country at both world and European level.
